I have a financed blackberry bold 9900 with Incredible including insurance. Last month I wanted to hand the phone in with vodacom for software repairs and they said I first need to repair the insignificant crack on the screen. I went to incredible to claim the screen repair on my insurance. Incredible ensured me that the claim would take 2 week max. After waiting 3 weeks i phoned them only to find out that they never even reported the claim and i Need to wait 2 more weeks. 2weeks later they notify me that I need to pay in R900 for it to be fixed. I wrote a complaint to the manager saying that I had to spend money on a loan phone for 5 weeks they never quoted me when taking the phone to tell me i will have to pay in on the insurance neither did they give me an option of an access waver. I feel that for all the inconvenience caused they should be responsible for the R900. Vodacom quoted me r1200 for the repair and R900 is an absurd amount. He said its because he claimed for a new phone and not the screen repair because incredible's policy is not to repair but replace. Should this policy be my problem? I now still have my old blackberry and cant send it in for software repairs.
