I bought a dining room set for ~R60 000 and there were several defects that were found on the initial set. My chairs had to be replaced and fixed, my display cabinet had to be reset and my table top was scratched and damaged. Most of the repairs were conducted and chairs replaced, however, the table top has been replaced 7 times now and there are still defects on the table. My current table top is now peeling (literally chips of the top layer of the table top is loose and coming off piece by piece) and the cotton on the edging is fraying. Several table tops have been delivered to the house but each one has a defect... several of them had big dents and holes. To add to my horror was the manager at the Secunda branch that is rude, unfriendly and not at all helpful.
