A "special" isn't a special anymore

I bought the Wednesday special at the SILVERLAKES store last week Wednesday and had
to throw more than half the carrots away over the weekend when I peeled and chopped
the vegetables to freeze.

A special really is not a special when one has to throw half the food away because
its vrot, pap, rotten.

My husband and I are currently under debt review and we really have to be on the
look-out for specials and make our rands go further and make our budget balance
(some how).

On a previous occasion the same thing happened when I bought a special at the
Villieria store and after that I tried the Pretoria North store.

I was really sure that Silver Lakes would not present any such problems because - to
be honest - the Silver Lakes store's food is really export quality.

So this time I ran into exactly the same problem with the special for 2013.04.10.

I'm really disappointed with the specials on offer at Fruit & Vegetable Cities.
