DAMAGED GOODS ON DELIVERY & BAD ATTITUDE

I bought a diningroom table over the phn & dealt with a lady, Hayleigh (H) from Silk & Cotton (S&C). We agreed that I would make payment via EFT that I would arrange collection as S&C don't do deliveries. I asked H specifically whether S&C would wrap the table or if I shld get the courier company to wrap it. She confirmed that the table wld be wrapped in cardboard & plastic. I called H again a day later to confirm our arrangement. I also had email correspondence with H confirming this. When I got home to see the table delivered, it was unwrapped, sopping wet, had stain marks & a gouge out of it. When I called S&C to ask why it wasnt wrapped, they told me that their company doesnt wrap any items. I said that I understand that its their company policy but that I had had an arrangement with H.They told me H doesnt work there anymore.(weird, within a week) I spoke to the owner SALLY who was frankly DISGUSTING. Her attitude towards me was appalling & didnt even offer suggestions on how to treat the table. I told her that she must take responsiblity for her emplyees. She refused & hang up on me which is the most disrespectful thing someone can do. Worst customer service EVER. Sally was shocking
