I have been very disappointed with my dealing with Peters Transport and Storage Company. I .originally selected them based on my dealings with the customer service I received at the time of quoting & their pricing was competitive. The service required was to move my house contents into storage and the following day off load the goods into the new premises. On the 28 June, 5 guys arrived and got on with it. But during the move and chaos I notice by camera bag was missing. I assumed it may have been packed by mistake as it wasn't in a box. The next day on checking, the bag was no way to be found. When the truck arrived at the new premises, my dining table was missing a leg, another table chips in it. My kids doll house that was wrapped properly in bubble wrap, arrived with NO bubble wrap & broken in many places. 2 side tables were damaged.
What I learnt was 4 of the 5 guys they had working on Fri, were casuals they picked up off the street. They don't work for the company. The company doesn't know their names or any ID numbers. There is absolutely no recourse. The management of the company takes NO responsibility and I am still waiting for them respond to my email
