I was a bit horrified by what I saw at Woolworths today - not that it was entirely WW's fault. Some parents had allowed their little girl, who had no shoes on and dirty feet, to stand on the cashiers counter while their groceries were being cashed up. When they left the cashier didn't wipe the counter down before dealing with the next customer. I know that most groceries are covered or in boxes etc but the counter should have been wiped with a sanitising cloth for hygienic reasons. I also feel that the cashier should have asked the parents not to allow their child on the counter for those very reasons or WW should put up signs saying no children on cashier counters.
