I recently bought food at the Chilli Lane Woolworths and the cashier receiving my payment had an awful attitude and was terribly rude. Unfortunately, she was not wearing a name tag, and there were no managers around with whom I could voice my dissatisfaction. I understand that during lunch time rush hour, the queues are long, and it is the end of year and everyone is fatigued, but one of the reasons why I enjoy shopping a woolworths is the shopping experience I pay a premium for. This cashier called me to her till like an animal by clicking her fingers and pointing to the counter. She failed to greet me politely after I asked after her well-being. She failed to ask me whether I had a woolworths card and just throw my items towards me with little regard for damage. Once all my items were checked through, she just stared at me rather than politely telling me the cost. I had not even finished entering my pin number when she was shouting for the next customer. Needless-to-say, she failed to acknowledge or return my 'have a good afternoon'. It was awfully service and left a very bitter taste in my mouth. I sincerely hope that others or her managers saw her awfully behaviour.
