Promises and, incompetence, poor service

The promise of 21 d delivery did not hold true when I was told to get by without a refrigerator for over 6w until they can find one. I had to speak to the 'newest' member (which basically means no training and immense incompetence) of staff and every time I asked to speak to the manager, I was told he was in a meeting - must be the busiest person in the country being in a meeting for 3 consecutive days. (This story was also changed when I was told s/he went home early the day before, so?) I eventually cancelled and asked for my money back (which I thankfully received after another 2w of promises went by), but that did not compensate for all the time and money spend in trying to sort out this mess. I was never phoned back, always on my account. Not to mention all the worry about whether I will get my money back - things started to look like one big to me at one point! Save yourself headaches and use an old-fashioned proper store. South Africa and online shopping cannot yet be relied on.
