Pick n Pay had no stock of their regular, white PVA paint. I picked up another brand which didn't have a visible price tag. I took it to the till to pay and saw it was way out of my price range. The assistant named Constance agreed with me about the high price. She walked with me to the paint section and we searched the shelves until we found one tub of the regular PVA at the back of a shelf. Constance even opened the lid of the tub to make sure it was the correct colour. She went above and beyond to help me out, and when I thanked her, she said 'when you help others, you're really helping yourself too'. I find this very true and appreciate such a kind, resourceful teller.
