I am very disappointed with Edgars. I wanted to charge my purchase to my account and found out at the till that my card was blocked. There was no amount due on the card and the lady at the toll told me it was blocked because they need to update my information and she sent me to Customer care upstairs.
After queueing at customer care, the lady theretold me that she had to call another call center so they could speak to me..again I wait..I was so irritated that I left.. but had to repeat the process again to get the card unlocked. It is amazing with all the technology that we had tpday that Edgars can waste a person's time. A letter advising me that of a phone no to call would have done the trick or even an email or an sms.
I already was irritated with the lack of service at Edgars that I avoided shopping at edgars. Now I feel even more irritated as I think that they are not making their store and process customer friendly and on top of that the employees lack standard and style in the way they deal with the customers... I definitely will carry on shopping where I am greeted with a smile, good service and where process is customer friendly
