We bought a bed at Dial a Bed Brits on the 17 March 2013. The consultant promised that we will receive the bed within 14 days as it is quite urgent. We stay in Thabazimbi, a hour and a half drive from there. I should have seen the red flags, when a e-mail regarding the stores poor sales, was lying on the consultants desk for all the customers to see. Regardless, we paid with Credit Card and was promised the bed within 2 weeks. I followed up regularly with the consultant, but as the 2 long weekends approached, the supplier was unable to deliver to the store, and I phoned and lodged a complaint at Head Office, got no reply. And yesterday the consultant phoned to let me know that the manufacturer does not make the bed anymore! 3 weeks of my time wasted, and now I have to drive all the way back to Brits to get a refund, because Credit Card payments cannot be refunded manually. Poor service and empty promises, the consultant did not even try to get me another brand, or suggest a solution. I hate it when a company makes their problem the customers one!
