Quote rejection fee under warranty

I bought a printer model: HP Officejet Pro 8500A Plus on the 10th of May 2012 at Incredible Connection (Springfield). The printer comes with a one year warranty and i registered for a three year warranty extension online. I had a "Paper Jam" error that wont go away so i took the printer back to the store on 23 March 2013 (Saturday). when i brought it in the store it had a leak. i was assisted by Olidean Kandhailall and she told me that the problem is caused by generic cartridges and the warranty is void. I requested that she must forward the printer to an HP specialist and he/she will confirm the problem but i was told to pay the quote rejection fee of R450 for a printer that is under warranty. i was going to pay the money on Monday but when i got home i searched on the internet only to find out that the refilled/generic cartridges does not void the warranty. on Monday 25 March 2013 i printed the information i found on the internet and went back to the store. I tried to explain to her and she even called the manager but they still insisted that i pay the quote rejection fee because it will cost them (Incredible Connection) to send my printer to HP.
