I bought an Officjet pro 8500A plus last year 24 Feb 2012. On the box it claims a three year warranty. My printer for no apparent reason is unable to switch on. It states on the box 3 year warranty. I took the printer back to Incredible Connections where I bought it. NOW, the fine print states, if you didn't't register with HP online you don't have a warranty. EVEN If I can prove that it was bought on the 24th of Feb 2012. I was never informed about the conditions of the warranty. I wasn't made aware that this warranty is conditional to a registration on line. Besides that I have in writing from HP that this printer doesn't have a 3 year warranty only 1 year??? I still have the box. It is written 3 year warranty. Why isn't proof of payment acceptable for a warranty based on time??? Even Incredible Connection is trying to convince HP of their own warranty promise made to their client. I just think it is unacceptable.
