I have a Markhams account over many years with you and feel it was managed quite well and overpaid many times which resulted my account being in a credit balance.
I find myself in an unfortunate situation this month, I had unforeseen expenses and required 1 months grace which would allow me to make a double payment next month. To put this into perspective I spent R1000's over the years, my current balance is R655.51 and my total due is R110.00. All that I required is for me to either have my account placed on hold for this month or for my account profile/credit profile not to be affected due to this arrangement for 1 month. I receieved a very abrubt and condescending response to this query via the TFG contact center. I fail to note the agent's name but am sure that all your calls are recorded and if you can listen to the wording and tone of this individual it is shocking considering the loyalty I have given over the years. Nevertheless, all she could say I cannot tell what to do but it will have a negative impact against your credit profile. I can't beleive that this amount of money could ilicit a response like that from such a huge company. why can't you assist me?
