Hand over of settled acc's & no one able to assist

Dec 2009 a Woolworths Cr card account was settled. A few weeks ago call recieved from attorney MBD advising that the account still had a balance of /- R20k. The attorneys have advised that we are to contact WFS for detailed statements as they dont have access such info... This is when the fun begins. It seems that they are as secret as the FBI or even the CIA. Called the call centre yesterday and spoke to at least 5 different collection agents who were not willing to assist nor did it seem that they knew what they were doing. Last person I spoke to was a Farwah (SECRET AGENT) who adv that all Team Leaders were in a meeting and they could not supply managers details (CIA I tell you). Today the same story but I got to speak to a Team leader (Morne) who adv that she will forward the query to collections Team Leader (L Nel) but cannot give me her e-mail or contact num (ANOTHER SECRET AGENT). Spoken to many people in collections but not 1 of them asked for the proof of pmnt (sure this is important info required TO PROVE THAT ACC WAS SETTLED IN 2009). Nevermind the fact that no 1 is willing to help, the fact is that this so called debt is prescribed anyway.
