FURNITURE CITY DREARY SERVICE

I purchased a Calgan Lounge Suite (Sharka 3 Piece) from Furniture City in 2011. As it would be the Sales Consultant would up-sell you to take the extended warrantee which i did. Still residing in Cape Town at the time the suite went in for repair due to the sagging of the cushions making it terrible to sit on. I then moved to Johannesburg and it went in for a further three more repairs for the same issue.

I had a representative from the manufacturer (Calgan) come out and assess the couches and he (Micheal) agreed to arrange for collection and repairs for the fifth time which is more than two months ago, to no avail. I then contacted the Branch Manager via the Sales Consultant (Feroza) who eventually called me about three weeks ago to salvage the matter as i laid a further complaint and deeply frustrated. To date no collection, no communication however debits run religiously on the 25th of every month.

I have resorted to the National Credit Regulator, as Furniture City's Customer Care line is everything but helpful and just a further waste of my time and money. So much for extended warrantees, for the unforeseen and retaining good paying clients. Never again will i set foot in.
