I went to Jet in Festival mall to buy a gift card only to find out they were out of cards. The assistant manager asked me to go to Legit to get the gift card the, he instructed me to ask whoever was assisting me to give him a call to "confirm" the purchase. The cashier at Legit went and explained all this to Joyce the manager. Joyce refused to sell me the gift card and told me to go and buy them at Edgars. She displayed a high level of unprofessionalism towards me because I am an ex employee. Her behaviour was appalling especially because I am high pregnant and I shouldn't have to go to 3 different stores to get a simple gift card. When I visit any Edcon stores, I got there as a client and not as an ex employee. I deserve to be treated as such.she refused to sell me the gift voucher and I still don't understand why. Is Edcon making so much money that they can afford to turn clients away?
