I am a regular shopper at Clicks-Mall of the North. I usually buy many baby items ranging from food, nappies etc. However, I have a very big problem. Customers are not allowed to walk out of Clicks store with shopping trolleys. We are forced to carry heavy plastic bag to our cars. At one stage I complained and asked the manager at the time as to why we cannot carry the trolleys out. She told me they have very few Shopping Trolleys and cannot afford to have them out. After a very long talk, she finally agrees that I took the trolley. She told me that if I think what I bought is heavy, then I can ask the manager to take the trolley out (In other words every time). This to me is horrible - every time look for a manager? The other day I went and asked the manager (different one this time) if I could take the trolley, the lady instead pointed at the Checkers Supermarket trolley abandoned just outside the Clicks door to say you can take that. Ever since, I now resort in using abandoned checkers Supermarket Trolleys if i can find one to do my shopping at clicks, or if I cannot find one abandoned then carry my heavy plastics to my car. Anyone in the world please help with this madness.
