I purchased a sleeping bag from Cape Union Mart's Online store last Tuesday which I paid for immediately.
The bag was part of their Holiday Camping Specials.
According to the page [URL Removed] the sleeping bag is in stock and will be delivered within 5 working days which was fine for me since I needed it before this weekend. In fact as I type now the page still shows the item in stock
A week later (today) I get an email saying:
"Good morning
Regarding your order unfortunately we are out of stock on the below item and will be doing a partial refund immediately.
o Cape Union Sapphire Cowl Sleeping Bag
We do apologise for the inconvenience caused"
Apparently that's supposed to make everything okay.
It's quite unfortunate especially since I've really taken to online shopping in recent months.
So I guess I'll be spending Human Rights Day hunting for a sleeping bag
