On the 8th March 2013, I went to Eastgate Checkers to do my monthly shop. I bought 2 900g Infacare Gold 2 formula milk for my 8 and half month baby. For the last week my child has been sick and not drinking her milk. I thought maybe she was just ill due to teething but yesterday something in me clicked, check the expire date on her formula, the formula is expired. Its expirery date is 2012.12.08, no wounder the poor child wouln't drink. The milk doesn't smell like vanilla, it actually sinks. I'm horrified to think that they can sell products that have expired. Now my concern is, what else has expired and I havent picked it up yet. Their bacon is brown, from age and it should be pink. Recently my maid told me that she bought a full bbq chicken from checkers in eastgate and it was off and she was sick for days!!! This is a serious matter that needs to be looked at and taken further!!! Maybe its time the health inspector pay them a visit!!!
