On 20 July 2013 I bought a 2lt House Brand Full Cream milk from Checkers Hyper in Fairbridge Mall in Brackenfell.
The next morning when I opened the milk I immediately saw clumps drifting at the top of the bottle and my heart sank. I knew the milk was spoiled and so I straight away checked the expiration date, only to see that it expired on 18 June! That is more than MONTH after its expiration date! How could Checkers allow this to happen? Put milk on their shelves that is more than a month past its expiration date?
I said to my mom let me take it back right now, but she said it won't even help they'll just tell me that it's my fault or that I am lying and didn't buy it yesterday. There has been many times that we take items off the shelf and then get to the tills and find that the price charged isn't the same as the price displayed on the shelves. Then we have to wait in the queue while the employees go and make sure we aren't lying about the price only to not even receive a sorry for the inconvenience we've been put through.
I don't know how Checkers can allow milk that's been expired more than a month to be sold to the public!
