After thinking hard and long enough about my Truworths account, I decided to pay it up and close it. I paid it up and had it closed on Friday the 8th of March. I called Truworths Head office and asked for a letter confirming that my account is paid in full and has been closed. The consultant told me it would take about 48 hours before I can get the letter, so I told her it's fine, I'll wait. I called them again on Tuesday the 12th of March, to ask why I still haven't received my letter, then the consultant said there was no such request on my profile. So she said she has now made a request and the letter will be mailed to me within 48 hours. I have now waited for more than 220 hours and I still don't have my settlement letter!! It's funny how they are quick to list and send you countless letters and emails when you owe them but when you ask them for only one thing, they drag their feet like they want you to pay for it! I WANT MY SETTLEMENT LETTER PLEASE!!
