I joined the baby club as I was told there would be benefit in doing so through vouchers, the bag etc.
At Brooklyn Mall clicks 2 weeks ago, I was told by one of the sales ladies about the new bag criteria - thinking that i now had to spend R175 in order to qualify - regardless of when I joined or not! I then spent the money - a LOT more than R175 which I was told I had to by the sales lady - I would also like to add that she was the third person that I had to speak to as no-one on the store actually had any idea as to what I was talking about!
The wording on the advert also says NOTHING about when having joined the baby club in order to qualify for the bag: it reads: "Spend R175 or more on your first purchase of baby products in one transaction"
1. This was my first transaction of baby products - even though I joined in October.
2. I spent more than R175
3. NOWHERE Does it state that it was open ONLY for new registrations

I have tried to explain this via mail 3 or 4 times to different people but keep getting a very watery "apology".
Really unacceptable and utterly disgusted -v there are also other FAR better baby programmes out there which I will make use of more!
