Yesterday, I phoned the Greenstone Hypermarket to check what time they closed for the day and was able to get to the store after work before they closed at 18h00. At 17h17, I was referred to the Deli counter to place an order for catering platters for a small function I am holding tomorrow (14 March) night. I am aware that P'nP requre 24 hours notice to prepare these things as I have done this before, so I was in good time.
The assistant at the deli counter informed me, however, that none of the mangers were there and that they (the managers) had taken all the stuff needed to process the order with them. It appeared that nothing could be done at the time to resolve this and I am now left in a predicament to provide for my function as I cannot get back to the store within the twenty four hour period required by P'nP. Public interface managers not present without substitution procedures in place for a service offered is inexcusable.
