I went to exchange a T-Shirt that was given to me as a birthday gift but was the incorrect size. I was told by the cashier that they couldn't exchange it unless I had the invoice. I explained that it was a gift and thus didn't have the invoice. I was told then that they would refund it but at less 40% as it may have been bought on sale. This is a ridiculous policy. Nobody has a receipt if it is a gift! I then asked to speak to the manager, Bonolo. she was disdainful and couldn't have been bothered. When I contacted Stuttafords head office to complain, the manager Karen, was just as disdainful. Stuttafords was not concerned about my complaint and had an attitude of "this is our policy so too bad for you." For Stuttafords, which positions itself as an upmarket retail store, their attitude was disgusting.
