No trolleys with baby seat - how is a mom to shop?
I attempted a monthly grocery shop with my baby at PnP Hyper. I did not see any trolleys with baby seats outside, so went inside. Nothing there. I asked at the information counter. They told me to look outside. I said I had, they asked someone else to look. When they could not find any, they told me to try the other entrance on the opposite side of the Hyper. I walked around, carrying my 10kg baby under one arm, nappy bag & shopping bags under the other. At the other entrance, there was one with a baby seat, but it was locked in by the other trolleys. After a few tries I finally found a manager. He moved the trolleys to get the 1 with the baby chair. When I got the trolley, one of the legs suspending the baby seat was broken & the chair had no straps. I could not put my child suspended high unsecured. He told me to try Woolworths. I walked across the mall, under the other & when I got there, no trolleys. So I returned to the PnP info desk & asked to speak to a manager. I was put through to someone who asked me to fill out a complaint form. By that time I had been there for 45 min! I made a special trip to go to that store, was misinformed & inconvenienced! How is a mother to shop?!
