This morning I just realised that I am fed-up with the clouds of smoke I have to walk through each day to enter our local Pick 'n Pay, Delmas. Today the smoke actually reached the Customers inside at the Pay Points. When I complained about it at the Till the lady said I am free to Complain to the Manager but it won't help as many others before me tried.
Well I went to Management with my Complaint and I was told that there is nothing they can do and then I was promptly shouted out the door with all the smoking staff from the adjacent MTN Shop and Pick 'n Staff on their smoke break looking on with smirks on their faces!
Dear Owner in Delmas, YOU ARE BREAKING THE LAW AND THERE IS SOMETHING YOU CAN DO. YOU ARE JUST TOO PATHETIC TO DO IT! AS STATED BY YOUR MANAGER ON DUTY LOSING MY BUSINESS IS NO BIG DEAL BUT I'M SURE SOMEONE ELSE WILL APPRECIATE THE MONEY MORE AND GIVE ME BETTER SERVICE AND I'LL BUY MY BREAD AND MILK DAILY WITH A SMILE ON MY FACE AND HEALTHY LUNGS.
I will also be contacting the Environmental Health Officer for this area today and I will come by later today with a Copy of the Tobacco Legislation for your perusal (and Education).
