Was sitting in non smoking area next to the kiddies play area at the local spur at lemontree shopping centre
Next to us about 1m away was a table with ashtrays .(next to the non smoking sign) people started smoking there. My 4year old son started to complain and my mother inlaw had an asma attack. So I called the manager frank. He said that he cant do anything about it and that its not his problem. I asked to speak to the owner and the manager said he is not available so I asked for his cell nr to call him. When I called the owner Aiden he said to me that the law allows people to smoke outside and that the no smoking signs is only there for his health and safety certificate. We were forced to leave our food and drinks. I'm appalled by the attitude of the owner and managers... but can you expect more from them if that was the owners attitude..? What a shame that such a great family establishment is run by an ignoramus. Thank you Dross at lemontree for a smoke free family area where we can enjoy fresh air and our kids can still gave a good time.
