For the last couple of months after purchasing a cellphone with Vodacom that came with a HOmemark voucher, I have been inundated with call centre calls every single day sometimes several times a day, pushing rather aggressively for me to buy their products. They will go as far as to say that I should feel nothing to put it on my credit card as they will put it on budget, effectively feeling qualified to advise on my finances. They are overly familiar and boorish.
On one occasion a call centre agent pretended to be a FedEX employee, saying that they were now delivering one of the products against my will. In a bid I suppose to force my hand. I find this kind of harassment shocking. I have asked to be removed from their promotional list to no avail. I have asked to speak to a manager/supervisor. Nothing. I avoid most private calls now and immediately hang up if I do and they identify themselves as Homemark. This has not helped. I have tweeted both the Vodacom and Homemark twitter addresses about this as well to no avail
