I haven't been to Makro Germiston for a few years, due to bad service in the past. I thought that the transfer to WalMart had finally gone through, I would be surprised at the store with great and friendly staff (like in the US at WalMart). Yeah, I was dreaming. I wanted a SIM card RICA'd, after 10 minutes and nobody helping me (lots and lots and lots of staff all over place, mostly doing very little, like two guys further down the isle playing with small racing cars via remote, all in between customers and their trolleys, having fun). I requested to see the manager (Mr. van den Berg) who told me that only two people could RICA and that they were busy. I told him that was ridiculous, his said THATS THE WAY IT IS HERE, I reminded him that lots of staff were doing nothing, he then told me that I was upsetting myself (none of his business) and that maybe I should work for MAKRO if I could do a better job. right I could (do a better job!)! Anyway, last time at Makro until such time when all the staff are properly (WalMart) trained. Shopping at WalMart USA is a joy, at Makro RSA is ain't! Won't be tempted to go back in a hurry!
