Disrespectful staff

I have just walked out of the Makro in Woodmead as I went to purchase a camera from the store.
On arrival there were two sales people lounging at the photographic counter. They saw me arrive but did not other to move to assist me. I had to REQUEST to be served. Reluctantly one of the sales lady managed to make the efforts assist. I requested to look at one of the cameras but it did not have batteries and I was informed it needed AAA batteries but she refused to get any in order that I could test the camera I wished to purchase.

I told her she was not interested in making the sale and I duly walked out of the store I refuse to give my hard earned money to a company that encourages this disrespectful attitude to its customers by its employees.

These people should not be on a fixed salary they should work on commission then you will see attitude change.

I thought by Walmart coming and taking over the Mass Mart Group that they would become customer friendly obviously the poor attitude of South African staff is not able to be changed.

I only blame the South Africanconsumer for continually supporting outlets that employ lazy and useless staff
