24 Decr 2012 apllied for an edgars account, was told i would recieve an sms to approve or deny my application, i did not get any feedback whatsoever. On the 4th of March 2013 i phoned edgars to follow up my application and was told it was denied, when i asked why, to my shock i was told beacuse of, i asked, but what do you mean, what nature of, the rep said it had something to do with my id number or something so i asked if there was anybody i can speak to that can explain and clear this up i was just told no and i was hung up on. Naturally, due to fear of ID i took steps, went to home affairs to check my id number status and it is clean. I don't know the procedure of account apllications and at edgars but i would at least expect some feedback, they asked for my payslip, id document, i had both when i applied, both valid for that matter and they have somehow made a mixup of my application and just marked it as and rid of it without any explanation or feedback to me. i just hope their branding of me as doesn't affect my applications when i take my money elsewhere, i work hard to earn it and i am no criminal
