I am temporarily disabled at the moment following an accident; I am unable to walk up and down shopping malls so we parked right outside Foschini today, confident from previous experience I would find a birthday present for someone there, hassle free.
I was shocked when the sales assistant told me that the necklace and earrings I selected from the display wasn't available as they were stock taking.
Even more shocked that this was a Saturday morning, the one time of the week when you'd think retailers are trying to optimize their profits rather than turn customers away for stocktaking. I have a Foschini loyalty card and I'm a regular shopper at that branch ; needless to say, I won't waste my time browsing their items ever again if there is no guarantee that they are actually for sale!!
