REFUSED TO TRANSFER MONEY TO MY EXISTING ACCOUNT

I have a new account at Truworths in which I sent my girlfriend to pay my account of R400, so she used my ID Book instead of my card. I had an old account which I believed that it's closed. So the money that I paid went to the old account. They kept calling me to pay my account cause the money didn't reflect on their system. I went to the shop to query my money and they took my slip to make a copy. Ever since then, nothing has been done to solve this issue and I refuse to pay the remaining balance because the R400 issue has not been resolved. Lawyers keep calling me, threatening to blacklist me because they don't believe my story. I feel that Truworths has failed me as their customer because they should have checked their duplicate receipts and resolve this issue in a second! I refuse to pay them until its resolved!
