I received today 27 February 2013 the first sms from MBDLC saying "I failed to respond to their sms's" which I have never received, regarding my Truworths Account which was closed off in 2012. I called the number to check whats happening only to get a shock of my life that Truworths handed me over in February 2013 for failing to pay R2900.
I then called Truworths Call Centre and had spoken to Jack who still claims that I owe Truworths money, while at Customer Service they confirmed that my account was closed and that I should call 011 560 4418 whom still claim that I owe.
My question is why did Truworths wait for 3 years before calling and saying I owe them? And their Customer Service personnel confirmed that I settled the account yet the Legal section still say I owe and expect me after 3 years to tell them what was the last payment I made to them, expecting me to know the amount and payment date as if I paid yesterday!
