I went to sandton and bought my partner a pair of boots which originally cost R499 but were reduced to R209 and then R139. when we got to the till the R209 price was overriden considering the fact that we saw the R139 price hence we bought the boots. unfortunately the size we took was 11 and we had to return it and get a size 10, so when he went back to sandton he couldn't find the size, luckily i was at maponya because i had to come and sort out a problem of my own as well i hapenned to see the right size and i took it and waited for him to bring the other pair. when we went customer services we were told that we needed to add R70 as the boots were R209 and not R139 so my question is, if one store could override the price couldn't the gentleman in maponya do the same. i'm sure there was a way they would sort it out between themselves and not involve us because we are not woolworths employees and dont even know how the system works. the most upseting part is that this guy just told us that if sandton marked the thing wrong it''s not his problem and there's nothing he can help us with.i was very disappointed and hurt and didn't change the shoes.
