I bought a pair of Running shoes from Edgars in Fourways 2 and a half weeks ago. On bringing them home I realised that I needed one size smaller. I took them back the following day, and the attendant at the store phoned around and found a pair at the Balfour Branch. They said that it would take them 2 weeks to get them from Balfour to Fourways!!! The day before I bought these shoes my Son bought a pair of Soccer boots on [URL Removed] (interestingly enough at R150 less than at Edgars). These boots were delivered to our home 2 days later! On trying them on my Son realised they were the wrong size. He immediately contacted Takealot [URL Removed] This was on a Friday morning. [URL Removed] arrived at our home the following morning - A SATURDAY - with the right size boots and took the other pair back - NOW THAT IS SERVICE!!
I went to Edgars Fourways branch today to see if the running shoes had arrived from Balfour Branch, and of course they had not!!! I now have an expensive pair of running shoes that I have not been able to use for 2 and a half weeks, and who knows how much longer or whether I will ever get the right size!
It is no wonder Edgars are losing business to other businesses!!!
