I purchased a pair of Levis 501s from Edgars at the beginning of February this year. I am not at all label conscious, I simply believe in paying a little more for clothing of quality as it generally means a better fit and the clothing lasts a lot longer than the "cheaper" brands, however, the complete opposite was true in this case. I have been loyal to the 501s for a number of years now with only my previous pair having fault. Said previous pair lasted only a matter of months before one of the back pockets began to tear away from the pants, I put it down to me carrying my wallet in my back pockets and thus assumed my wallet had caused the tear. So I stopped placing my wallet in my back pockets. Unforunately however, my new pair, being only a month old and having been washed at most on 5 occasions and having never had any items in the back pockets, have begun to fail. As with my previous pair the back pocket has started to separate from the pants, and the top corner of the pocket has begun to eat a hole in the pants!! Seriously Levis, not even Mr Price jeans are THAT BAD?!?!?
