Ad service at Toys R Us store in Canal Walk

At around 4pm on Wednesday 27 Feb 2013 I went shopping at the Toys R Us store in Canal Walk. The till operator who served me was extremely relaxed in carrying out her service, having a full blown conversation with a fellow worker. She held out the card machine in what I assumed was a gesture for me to pull out my debit card, which I did. I then received notification of the transaction going through on my mobile but, she angrily told me that it hadn't gone through on her side. She then asked to swipe my card a second time. I asked her if she was sure since I had received an sms stating that it went through. She very hastily told me the transaction would be reversed, I asked again if she was sure and then asked for her name so that if it wasn't reversed I could contact the Reggies head office in the morning. She got very defensive raising her voice refusing to give me her name. I then asked if she could call the store manager, she wrote down the phone number for the store manager, Jane, but refused to call her down for me, instead she stormed off leaving the till area, leaving the store while I was still standing there. I am shocked at the extremely unprofessional service!
