Complete lack of Customer Service

Visited Woolies in Canal Walk last night, took my purchase to the counter, the cashier, firstly did not greet me or smile but just asked me if I am exchanging something, to which I said no, I am making a purchase. She proceeded with the transaction all while having a big chat with her colleagues Ayanda and Wardah regarding the Bonang Matheba ad campaign, discusisng her body and what shes doing in the ads - which I found inappropriate in the least. I used a gift card and debit card for my purchase to which Jody (cashier) kept the gift card and just asked if she should throw it away. Really? To make matters worse, after she had rung up the items she basically threw the slip at me all while having this snide look on her face. There was no thank you - nothing. As my friend and I walked away from the till she commented to the her colleagues, saying "Oh so nice and very friendly" sarcastically. I mean seriously, where does this girl get off treating customer's this way. I was actually shocked.
I have never ever experienced such horrible customer service in a retail store before. I felt so uncomfortable, and don't think I'll be visiting a Woolies store any time soon, if ever again.
