Good day,
We received phone call last year in December to say furniture had to be delivered. We sent the furniture back with your delivery van as we did not purchase any furniture.
Further we received an account yesterday in the name of Lehote Williams (who is my mother) for an amount of R41 000. How is this possible to provide credit to a person that is unemployed, does not own any assets nor has an actiev bank account? First is this not reckless lending? I have contacted the call centre - for 2 hours struggling to get assistance to no avail. I then sent an e-mail to Bradlows on 8 Feb 2013. No response... I followed up on 11 Feb 2013... until now there is no response.
So i contacted the Silverton branch, the Lady i spoke to (Tienie) was a bit rude and evasive and she refused to giev me any information because I was not the client. I then said even if my mother signed documents - was due diligence followed? Apparently someone can buy goods on his/her name and someone else (third party) is responsible for the payment (debit order is linked to thrid party banking details)... is this correct? When can tehy provide us with ALL the documentation provided and signed? That's all
