ClubCard Rewards - not clearly stipulated

I am a gold clubcard member of Clicks. i fully support clicks and purchase alot of goods from them in order to gain clubcard points. In the month of December 2012 i really made a point of doing all my christmas shopping at clicks in order to receive Cash-Back Rewards. I emailed them my query and they replied (see below) but i dont understand the logic. (i deserve a greater cash back rewards).

Please note, there is a R15 000 limit per Vitality member in a calendar year. Once this limit is reached, points revert to the original 2% given by Clicks. As per our records, the R15 000 annual limit was reached on the 06 December 2012, and the additional discount offered by Discovery Health as per your Vitality status was therefore not allocated.

In respect of the collection period (06 October 2012 to 20 December 2012), you spent R3747.18 at Clicks, earning you a total of 733 Qualifying ClubCard Points. In addition, you also accumulated 373 Bonus Points and 583 Gold Bonus Points. Once totaled, this amounted to 1689 Points.
