Bought a black & white shift dress for R500 from Forever New in Durban at the Pavilion in December 2011, only wore the dress once because i fell preganant & i quickly gained weight. just after one hand wash and all the black colour from the dress spilled all over the dress. i washed it again a few more times but nothing helped. i placed it aside because i had a rough pregnancy & when i had my baby & i loss all the excess weight i went to Forever New to tell them what had happened. The response i got was that i used a strong washing powder on the dress and they couldnt help me, even when i explained why i came to them so late. I like the dress & the items the store sell but am very unhappy about how this situation was handled! its very unfair and i feel they just passed the buck by saying i used a strong washing powder on the dress!! when i asked Sarika Sukdeo (store manager) which soap she uses on her laundry, she didnt have an answer for me!
I can print out a bank statemement showing that i bought the dress from them and all i was asking for, was to swop my ruined dress for another one but they just wont even give me a reasonable answer.
