My son goes to Incredible connection to buy a converter. He asks for a 110volt converter/adapter for a product bought in USA with their plug on it. He buys the recommended product. Trusting that he received the correct item, plugs the US bought product into it and only hears a poof and burning smell.
When returning the product to the shop, they tell him sorry but this was the wrong prouct and sorry they don't sell what he wanted but we should go somewhere else. The money was refunded for this item but I am now sitting with a brand new product that has cost me -R625 that does not work. Surely somebody must be held responsible for this? If they didn't know what he was talking about why not ask somebody else instead of giving him the wrong thing?
