I received a email from edcon instructing me to go to the branch so that they call customer care who would in turn change the wrong ID number that is linked to my account over the phone but to my surprise a customer service agent by the name of Neo Philohe was so rude he dint even want to hear my side of the story and she was so dismissive and just said the system will update all details on the 5th of every month which is contrary to what the email i received was saying
out of my busy schedule i sacrifice time to go to the branch only to be frustrated by customer service agents
it seems as if im being taken on a fools ride where by i get conflicting statements from the edcon employees
i will not bother to go to the branch again as it is time wasting
if edcon doesn't value me as a client and they dont respect my wishes then there is no need for me to be their client
i want the ID number linked to my account removed before Wednseday (20-02-2013) close of business or else close the account as it serves no further purpose to me if its linked to a ID number that does not belong to me
this level of customer service is below standard and unacceptable
