Can't close account, can't get a paid up lette

What is wrong with the edcon staff, each time to talk to a different person they give a different story, all I wanted was to close my account that I have more than settled but now I can't do that and I can't get a paid up letter. One person tells me the account is still active and I can close it then transfers me to the next person who tells me that I cannot close the account. Hai Edcon is really trying to sruw up my life
