My wife and I were in your Stubensvalley store yesterday, around 16:30. We were in the Returns Department to exchange a vacuum cleaner. It was bad enough that the lady who helped us told us that we would have to send the machine in 3 times for repairs before they would replace it, even though it isn't 3 months old. But then the unthinkable happened: the ladies named above were standing around chatting, when I leaned over to give my wife a kiss on the cheek. They blatantly gasped in horror & then started gossiping about "the lesbians" (in their own language-this I know because I do have an understanding of the language). I am absolutely shocked and hurt by this event. As far as I know, we live in a democratic South Africa where being in a homosexual relationship is legal. Over and above that, where is the respect for our basic human rights. I have not done anything to those woman-why should we be subjected to the laughing and the gossiping. Trust me-my wife and I go through this enough from the general public, it is the most vile thing that it should come from a retailer where we do a lot of business. I am so shocked, I might well never go back. What a sad day for our democracy :'(
