In November 2012, my mother purchased the Contessa 3 pce Lounge suite at Morkels Carnival Mall branch. They first delivered damaged furniture thinking it would go unnoticed, then delivered a 2 seater couch instead of the 3 seater couch which is what was paid for and more expensive. After begging and pleading for 4 months, they had the nerve to inform us that the 3 seater has been discontinued. Till today the contract amount has not even been amended to reflect the cheaper price of the 2 seater. This is absolute and nothing short of by Morkels. They people into buying furniture over a 2 year period, they do not bother to explain the implication of the different interest repayment options. Ofcourse it will cost 3 times more if you chose the lowest repayment option and that would greatly benefit them all the way to the bank. I am appalled at the lack of integrity and honesty of these who call themselves sales people. They very friendly and professional and helpful when conning into buying their inferior second rate furniture. Once the deal is concluded so is their service to you. Mooitjie and Poppie you give honest sales people a bad name. Shame on you.
