I have been accused by HomeChoice of ordering goods and not paying for them. In response I have e-mailed and phoned them on numerous occasions stating that I did not open an account, order the goods nor received a delivery. Their call center has called me on a daily basis since the end of last year demanding payment or asking if I have received the goods. Every time I explain my position, but to no avail. I have asked them on numerous occasions to provide me with my 'order' and to provide 'proof' of delivery, but they refuse to do that. They demand that I get an affidavit stating that I did not receive the goods. I informed them that I will do that when they provide me with proof that I actually made the order and received the goods. They refuse. Surely as an accused I should be presented with the evidence against me? I have asked them to report the matter to the police because its a clear case of identity .. Today I was informed via sms that I have been handed over to VVM ref 250722. I find it just incredible that anyone can order something from HomeChoice by just providing a () name and id number... and that they then deliver the goods without payment!
