I visited the Somerset West Mall branch of Edgars yesterday and waited 10 minutes in a line to pay for my items. This was not because there were many customers, but rather because there was only 1 active pay point for the entire store. Whilst I understand that there may be less tills active during off peak times this is unacceptable for a store of that size. Upon inquiry of where the manager/s were to inform them of my dissatisfaction, the till operator informed me they were in a meeting. This is also not an isolated incident as I received the same level of service about 2 weeks ago. I have been a loyal customer of Edgars for the past 15 years and am disappointed by the level of service and lack of management of this particular store.
